I have a job interview thingy majigger today. which I got by walking into a coffeeshop yesterday and asking about their Help wanted sign. Hopefully it goes well, but I’m kind of nervous because of the fact that they actually considered me for the job right away. It seems to good to true.

"I’m sick of how bisexuality is erased in LGBT spaces. I get really nervous before any LGBT event, especially Pride. This just punched me in the heart.

It’s hard to admit that this happens in our community, but it definitely does. Speaking out is the only way it will stop.

Favourite Audrey Ramirez Quotes

Audrey doesn’t get NEARLY enough love. It’s Edwardian period, yet she’s a genius Hispanic engineer who wears overalls, has adorably little meaty arms, doesn’t take any crap from boys, runs a mechanic business with her father and her sister is a prize fighter.

Having tattoos and piercings is not unprofessional.

What’s unprofessional is turning down an aspiring employee due to superficial reasons and not their skill level or experience.

i think it’s important that myself and other white ppl remember that we can not even begin to truly understand the pain and trauma of what is happening in ferguson, nor can we grasp the anger and sadness black communities experience due to this situation. all we can do is stand in solidarity, listen, and not derail or take the focus away from the true face of racism and white supremacy.
